ICT Geelong is the representative voice and peak body of the Information & Communications Technology (ICT) industry in the Geelong region.

Established in 2009, ICT Geelong is a not-for-profit member-based organization. Its members are industry leaders from the private sector, experts from tertiary education institutions and community leaders from the public sector. Members are from the IT sector but also include organisations where IT plays a key role in their operations (eg Deakin, Gordon, Barwon Health, GMHBA, City of Greater Geelong etc.).

The industry plays an important role in transforming the Geelong region from a traditional manufacturing economy to a knowledge-based economy.

ICT Geelong’s charter includes;

ICT Geelong has led a number of key regional innovation & entrepreneurship initiatives in the Geelong region, including;

• G21 Digital Innovation Strategy
• IT R&D and Commercialisation Strategy
• Technology Entrepreneurship Conferences
• $50,000 IT Invention Test (Investment Pitching Competition)

ICT Geelong was a key player in establishment of the Australian Sports Technologies Network (ASTN), the HeadStart Accelerator (a start-up mentoring program), Geelong Entrepreneurs Network and the Geelong Angels Investment Network (GAIN).
